Goat Health
September 16th heralded a visit from Dr. Allen Cannedy and his team of help from the vet school ..

Herd health is extremely important at Tranquility Acres. We have annual checks for CAE, Johne's, TB, and Brucellosis, as well as random checks of selenium, zinc, and copper to ensure optimal nutrition for the herd. Everyone getsupdated hoof trims, fecal checks, and general health check. The herd is generally closed, but if a new animal joins the family, they are isolated until good health is insured.

On November 4th Dr. Cannedy and his team returned to wether the Tranquility Acres male goats who were to become pets.
